Weekly Writing Exercise

May 6, 2014

Write a haiku about rain.
(A haiku is a three line poem with five syllables in the first and third lines, and seven syllables in the second line.)

Solid water sheet
Descending over Coburg
As I mount my bike.

(Yes, I know that traditionally lines in haiku don’t run on to the next line, but I’m not that much of a purist.)
